The Avvo Review Removal Service That Takes Down the Reviews Other Agencies Can’t.
A bad Avvo review ranks for your name, and your ethics rules limit what you can say back. Avvo reviews are meant to come from clients describing their own experience. We find the ones that fall outside Avvo’s guidelines, dispute them with evidence that keeps privileged information inside your firm and write responses that stay inside your rules. Start with a free assessment and know where you stand before you pay.

Not a client
Reviewed by Review moderation
Typical grade: ModerateWhat sets it off
- A review from someone with no engagement
- A prospect who consulted but never retained
What they can prove
- What the reviewer wrote
- That the reviewer claims a relationship
What they infer
- That the reviewer was a client unless shown otherwise
Our pathway
- 1Run the conflicts search on the reviewer
- 2Confirm no engagement or matter exists
- 3Point moderation to the lines that show it
- 4Dispute with facts that reveal nothing privileged
The cleanest dispute is a conflicts search that finds no one.

Our pathway
- 1Identify the matter the review describes
- 2Use public records to show the reviewer's side

An opposing party is not a client. Public records usually show it.

- That each review comes from a different person
Our pathway
- 1Line up the reviews side by side

Our pathway
- 1Mark the lines that show secondhand experience

Respond to a Bad Avvo Review Without Breaking Confidentiality
A genuine client review usually stays up. What you post under it is read by every future client, and your bar can read it too. Keep it short and keep the matter out of it.
Tap sentences on the left to build a response.
Built with ABA Formal Opinion 496 in mind. State rules vary. Your ethics counsel can review any response.
Tap sentences to add them to a public response. Any line that reveals client information is flagged, because a negative review does not excuse disclosure.
How Avvo Decides Whether to Remove a Review
Avvo doesn’t read your dispute on its own. It reads it against the whole profile: the review, the relationship the reviewer claims, your past disputes and the responses you’ve posted. We write yours to answer what Avvo is actually weighing.
Potentially how it looks. A fictitious reconstruction built from our research and quantified only from cases we have handled. It is not an Avvo screen or tool. Names, IDs, and records are invented or redacted.

Avvo case, draft
We are the ones businesses come to when every other agency and law firm has already failed.
Most attorneys find us after their disputes were declined and another agency already tried. A declined dispute stays on the record, so the next one has to be built differently. Our team has worked inside these platforms and knows what each review is measuring. That’s how we’ve resolved more than 10,000 cases.

Moderate
A reviewer plainly outside a client relationship. One dispute backed by public records or a clear mismatch.
Difficult

Hell 1

Hell 3
Serious false claims a policy flag didn’t clear. An attorney-reviewed legal notice naming each statement.
Hell 4
A real client's opinion, which usually stays up. A compliant response in line with bar guidance.
Hell 5
A dispute you can’t prove without revealing client information. A response that protects confidentiality, with search work around it.
Hell 6
Past a policy path. We decline before you pay.
Hell 7
No real option left. We decline before you pay.

Avvo Review Removal FAQs
Don’t see your question? Send us your profile link and we’ll answer it directly.
How do I remove a negative review from Avvo?
Avvo removes a review only when it breaks its Community Guidelines, so a harsh review from a real client usually stays up. Check the review against those guidelines first. If it breaks one, contact Avvo Customer Care with the review link, the exact rule it breaks and your proof. A free assessment tells you which rule fits.
What kind of reviews does Avvo not allow?
Avvo only allows reviews from people who hired or consulted the attorney about their own matter. Secondhand stories, reviews of the lawyer on the other side, accusations of criminal activity, unsupported accusations, hostile or insulting content and personal information all break Avvo’s rules and can be disputed for removal.
Can the opposing party leave a review on Avvo?
No. Avvo’s Community Guidelines say people cannot review the attorney on the other side of their matter. Public filings can usually show who the reviewer was in the case without touching anything privileged, which makes these some of the clearest Avvo disputes to file. Send us the review link and we check it.
Can I find out who wrote a review on Avvo?
Avvo does not share a reviewer’s identity or contact information, even with the attorney who was reviewed. When you flag a review, Avvo’s team can investigate and may ask the reviewer for more information to confirm it is real. Your own client and intake records are what show a reviewer never hired you.
Can a lawyer respond to a bad Avvo review?
Yes, carefully. ABA Formal Opinion 496 says a lawyer may not reveal client information when answering online criticism, and state rules vary. Avvo advises a short, professional reply that acknowledges the concern without debating the facts. Many lawyers simply say their professional duties prevent a detailed response.
Should I dispute an Avvo review more than once?
Send your strongest dispute the first time. Avvo reads each new dispute against the ones already on file, and a repeat with no new facts, or one that leans on privileged details, makes the next one harder. Name the exact guideline the review breaks and attach the proof that shows it. Let us look first before you file.
How long does an Avvo review dispute take?
Avvo does not publish a set time for review disputes. Clear cases, like a review from an opposing party or a duplicate post, can move quickly once the right proof is in. Cases that need follow-up with Customer Care take longer. You get an honest time range after your free assessment.
Will a removed Avvo review still show on Google?
A removed Avvo review can keep showing in Google results for a while, because Google may show old text until it recrawls the page. Once Avvo confirms the review is gone, you can ask Google to update the result with its Refresh Outdated Content tool. We check the results until the old text clears.
What if a real client left a fair but negative Avvo review?
A genuine client’s honest review usually stays on Avvo, even when it stings. The best move is a calm, short reply that stays inside your ethics rules, and a fix for whatever caused it, like slow callbacks or unclear fees. More reviews from happy clients also push one bad review down the page.
Is it worth hiring an Avvo review removal service?
An Avvo review removal service is worth it when a review breaks a rule but proving it takes records, ethics care and follow-up. A good team files one clean dispute with the right proof and tells you up front when a review is a real client’s honest opinion. Start with a free assessment.
How much does Avvo review removal cost?
Avvo review removal pricing depends on how hard the case is: how many reviews, which rule applies and how much proof exists. We start with a free assessment of your profile, then quote the work before you pay anything. If a review can’t be removed, we say so and help you answer it.
Can anyone guarantee Avvo review removal?
No. Avvo makes the final decision on every review, so be careful with anyone who promises removal. What we commit to is the work: every real ground under Avvo’s rules gets used and filed the right way. If a review is honest and within the rules, you hear that straight from us before you pay.
