Yelp review removal, argued under Yelp’s Content Guidelines.
Yelp does not take reviews down because a business disagrees, and advertising does not buy removals. It removes reviews that break its Content Guidelines: no firsthand experience, conflicts of interest, off-topic rants, harassment, and private information. We match each review to your visit, booking, and staff records, report the ones that fit a guideline with proof, and leave genuine criticism for a public reply.

Worst truffle risotto I have had. Waited an hour for a table on Saturday.
Go two blocks down instead. Better food, nicer staff, half the price.

Your reviews, your stars, and the filter in between.
On Yelp, a review can be live, removed, or not recommended by software. Each state needs a different move.

How Yelp decides a reported review.
Some reviews are judged by software, some by people. Knowing which one holds your review decides what to send.
Recommendation software
Automated software that decides which reviews are recommended and count toward the star rating, and which move to the not recommended section.
Nothing from businesses. It runs on its own and cannot be petitioned.
We never ask Yelp to move a review in or out of the filter. We work the reviews it recommends.
Every review decision at Yelp runs through one of these. Pull a ticket to see what that part of Yelp checks before it acts.
Every suspension has a different pathway. Pick yours.
Yelp names its suspensions its own way. Each one is owned by a different desk, triggered by different signals, and reinstated by a different route. Pick the one on your notice.

Typical grade: DifficultWhat sets it off
- A review of a visit no record supports
- Dishes or staff that do not match the location
What they can prove
- The review text and date
- The reviewer’s profile
What they infer
- That the reviewer was a customer
Our pathway
- 1Search POS and bookings for the stated visit
- 2List details that do not match
- 3Cite the firsthand experience guideline
- 4Report one review at a time
We show the search, so the moderator can trust it.
Competitor
Owned by User Operations
Typical grade: DifficultWhat sets it off
- A reviewer tied to a competing business
- Low reviews that line up with a rival opening
What they can prove
- The reviewer’s public profile
- The timing
What they infer
- That the reviewer is an independent customer
Our pathway
- 1Document the tie from public facts
- 2Show the timing
- 3Cite the conflict guideline
- 4Leave the rest to Yelp
A rival review comes down on the conflict, not the stars.
Former employee
Owned by User Operations
Typical grade: ModerateWhat sets it off
- A review from someone you employed
- Inside details only staff would know
What they can prove
- The review text
What they infer
- That the reviewer came as a customer
Our pathway
- 1Confirm dates from payroll
- 2Match them to the review
- 3Cite the conflict guideline
- 4Keep private records out
Employment disputes belong somewhere else, not on the page.
Harassment or privacy
Owned by User Operations
Typical grade: ModerateWhat sets it off
- A staff member named with personal details
- Threatening language
What they can prove
- The text as published
What they infer
- That the details are fine to post
Our pathway
- 1Quote the exact line
- 2Cite the guideline
- 3Ask for removal
- 4Keep the rest of the case separate
Criticism stays. A home address does not.
Review wave
Owned by Consumer Alerts
Typical grade: Hell 1 to 2What sets it off
- A burst of reviews after a news story or post
- New accounts from outside the area
What they can prove
- Account ages and timing
What they infer
- That each review reflects a visit
Our pathway
- 1Capture the post that drove the wave
- 2Match reviews to it by time
- 3Send one pattern file
- 4Reply to anything genuine
When a story drives the reviews, the story is the evidence.
Filtered reviews
Owned by Recommendation software
Typical grade: ModerateWhat sets it off
- Good reviews moved to not recommended
- Bad reviews still recommended
What they can prove
- Its own reviewer signals
What they infer
- Nothing a business can contest
Our pathway
- 1Explain what the software does
- 2Stop asking customers for reviews
- 3Focus reports on recommended reviews
- 4Reply where it helps
Nobody at Yelp can move a review in or out of the filter.
Can a bad Yelp review be removed?
Only when it breaks the Content Guidelines. Filtered reviews already do not count toward your stars. A real guest’s bad night is not a ground, and it gets a real reply.
Report it
Illustrative. Yelp does not publish how its software weighs reviewers, and nobody can petition it.
Tick what you know about the reviewer and the review. The token shows where software likely leaves it, and the verdict shows what a report can do.
Yelp does not read your report the way you think. It reads this.
Behind the notice sits an internal record: your standing on every standard, the identifiers tied to you, and a running log of reviewer notes. This is a generalized view of what the desk is weighing while your case waits in the queue.
Potentially how it looks. A fictitious reconstruction built from our research and quantified only from cases we have handled. It is not a Yelp screen or tool. Names, IDs, and records are invented or redacted.

Yelp case, draft
We are the ones businesses come to when every other agency and law firm has already failed.
Every Yelp case is run against 10,000+ we have already resolved. Its signals are tied to past files, several at a time, until one pattern locks in and the path to a human reviewer shows. We take the files with stacked denials and find the path the last people missed.
We grade every Yelp case, from Moderate to a deep Hell Case.
Toggle what is true for your account and watch the tier move. We price on difficulty, and we take cases up to Hell 5, where a human path still exists. Levels six and seven we decline before you pay.

Moderate

Difficult

Hell 1

Hell 2
A commercial fight or a borrowed story in review form. The dispute or the secondhand lines shown against records.
Hell 3
A burst tied to news or a group, not visits. A pattern file for Yelp to confirm.
Hell 4
The same accounts hitting more than one location. One evidence file, reported location by location.
Hell 5
Invalid and genuine reviews in the same week. Report the invalid, reply to the genuine.
Hell 6

We have handled far more Yelp case types than fit on one page, including rare notices, stacked decisions, and cases no one could name. Send it over and we will work out the path with you.
What clients ask us first.
If yours is not here, the fastest answer comes from sending us the notice.
Can you remove a negative Yelp review?
We report reviews that break Yelp’s Content Guidelines, such as reviews from people who were never customers, competitors, former employees, or reviews with threats or private information. A real customer’s negative review usually stays and gets a reply.
How do I report a review on Yelp as a business owner?
Owners can report a review from Yelp for Business. The report works when it names the guideline the review breaks and the records back it up.
Why are some Yelp reviews not recommended?
Yelp’s automated recommendation software decides which reviews are recommended. Not recommended reviews do not count toward the star rating, and businesses cannot ask Yelp to move them.
Does advertising on Yelp remove bad reviews?
No. Yelp states that advertising does not affect which reviews are shown or removed.
What is a Yelp Consumer Alert?
A notice Yelp can place on a business page when it finds suspicious review activity, such as reviews that appear to be bought or rewarded. We audit how you ask for reviews so the business stays clear of one.
Do you guarantee Yelp removal?
No one can promise what Yelp decides. We commit to the work: an honest read of whether a real removal ground exists, a request filed under that ground, and escalation until a person reviews it. If the content is accurate and lawful, we tell you before you pay.
Are you a law firm?
No. We are removal consultants. When a matter needs legal weight, such as a defamation removal demand or court order support, letters are prepared and reviewed with attorneys. We do not litigate.
The operators, brands, and firms that trust us.
Some agreed to be named. Most cannot be. Here is the part of the roster we are allowed to show.
Send us your Yelp page. We will sort every review.
