The BlueSnap Reserve Dispute Service That Gets Withheld Funds Released.

BlueSnap shows your reserve as one line on the Account Balance Report. Behind that line is a read on your chargebacks, refunds, volume and what you sell. We rebuild it from your own reports and ask for a reserve sized to your real exposure. Start with a free assessment and know where you stand before you pay.

A closure stops processing. A rolling reserve takes a share of every payout. A payout hold locks money in your balance. We work all of it at once.

How a BlueSnap Rolling Reserve Fills and Releases

Three numbers set how much sits in your reserve. The case for reducing it rests on a fourth: the exposure it actually covers.

Why the hard cases come here

We are the ones merchants come to when every other agency and law firm has already failed.

Most merchants find us after their requests went nowhere and another agency already tried. Everything you send stays on the account, so the next request has to be built differently. Our team has worked inside these platforms and knows what each review is measuring. That’s how we’ve resolved more than 10,000 cases.

BlueSnap questions

BlueSnap Reserve and Payout Hold FAQs

Don’t see your question? Send us your notice and we’ll answer it directly.

Why is BlueSnap holding my payout?

BlueSnap holds payouts when it sees risk of future refunds, chargebacks or reversals on your account. Its reserve guide lists your refund and chargeback ratios, delivery timelines, industry risk, credit history and business specific risks as factors, and it reviews them at onboarding and on an ongoing basis. A sudden jump in volume can also set off a holdback.

What is a BlueSnap rolling reserve?

A BlueSnap rolling reserve sets aside a percentage of each day’s payments and holds it for a set period. When the oldest reserved funds reach the end of that period, they are released while new funds go in. BlueSnap’s published Merchant Terms describe a six month rolling reserve that can be extended when risk is high.

Where can I see my BlueSnap reserve balance?

BlueSnap shows your reserve in three reports in the Merchant Console: Account Balance, Payout Summary and Summary of Processing Statements. Check them before you contact BlueSnap so you know exactly how much is reserved, how much is scheduled to release and when. Those numbers are also the starting point for any reduction request.

When does BlueSnap pay out to merchants?

BlueSnap’s default payout schedule is Daily +2 business days, though your own agreement can differ. US payouts usually go out 2 business days after payment and EU payouts 4 business days after. If a payout is under the minimum, set by default at $35 or its equivalent, it rolls into the next cycle.

Why didn’t I get my BlueSnap payout?

A missing BlueSnap payout usually comes down to a reserve or holdback, a balance under the payout minimum, a bank holiday or an open review on your account. Check the Payout Summary and Account Balance reports first. If funds show as withheld with no reason given, ask BlueSnap in writing what is open and what they need.

How do I get a BlueSnap rolling reserve reduced?

You get a BlueSnap rolling reserve reduced by showing that your real exposure is lower than the reserve assumes. Pull your refund and chargeback ratios, delivery times and how much past volume can still be disputed, by market if you sell abroad. Ask for a specific new rate backed by that data, and keep chargebacks answered on time.

BlueSnap closed my account. What happens to my money?

When BlueSnap closes an account, it can keep a termination reserve to cover chargebacks and refunds that still come in. Its published Merchant Terms set that at the greater of 12 months or the acquirer’s reserve period, and require two straight months with no refunds or chargebacks before the final payout. Answer every chargeback in the meantime.

Should I open a new account if BlueSnap terminated mine?

Opening a new merchant account to get around a BlueSnap termination usually backfires, because acquirers screen businesses and owners against card network lists like MATCH.
