The Worldpay Reserve Dispute Service That Gets Withheld Funds Released.

Worldpay is your acquirer. It sets a reserve target under your merchant agreement, can end your processing and is the one that reports a merchant to MATCH. We go through your Reserve Report and chargeback data the way Worldpay’s risk team does and build a request it can approve. Start with a free assessment and know where you stand before you pay.

How Worldpay Decides Whether to Lower Your Reserve

Worldpay doesn’t read your request on its own. It reads it against your whole account: your chargebacks by merchant ID, your fraud controls, your financials and every request you’ve sent before. We write yours to answer what Worldpay is actually weighing.

Why the hard cases come here

We are the ones merchants come to when every other agency and law firm has already failed.

Most merchants find us after their requests went nowhere and another agency already tried. Every request stays on your file with Worldpay, so the next one has to be built differently. Our team has worked inside these platforms and knows what each review is measuring. That’s how we’ve resolved more than 10,000 cases.

Worldpay reserve questions

Worldpay Reserve and MATCH Listing FAQs

Don’t see your question? Send us your notice and we’ll answer it directly.

Why is Worldpay holding my funds?

Worldpay holds funds when a transaction looks fraudulent, when it believes you are in breach or likely to breach your agreement, or while it runs more due diligence. Its terms let it withhold or defer payouts in those cases. Rising chargebacks, a spike in volume or a change in what you sell are the usual starting points.

How does a Worldpay reserve work?

A Worldpay reserve keeps a set percentage of your sales and refunds from a set period in a reserve account. The Reserve Report shows the Target %, the Period Length, the Target Balance and every adjustment. Worldpay recalculates the target from your activity under your merchant agreement, so lowering it starts with reading those numbers correctly.

Why did Worldpay increase my reserve?

Worldpay raises a reserve when it sees more risk on your account, most often from rising chargebacks or fraud, longer delivery times or a change in your business. The Reserve Report shows when the Target % or Period Length changed. Match that date to your own data to find the cause before you ask for a review.

How do I get a Worldpay reserve lowered?

Getting a Worldpay reserve lowered means showing that your real exposure is smaller than the target. Send a request with your chargeback and refund ratios over time, delivery or fulfillment dates, fraud controls you added and the fix for whatever raised the reserve. One complete request beats several partial ones, because each stays on your file.

Why did Worldpay terminate my merchant account?

Worldpay can end or suspend processing at once for reasons such as missing merchant information, a change of control, serious financial decline, a security or PCI problem, suspected fraud or unlawful activity, or a card scheme action. Your notice should point to one of those grounds. Your answer and any request for funds should address that ground directly.

What happens to my funds after Worldpay terminates my account?

Worldpay can keep money in reserve after termination to cover chargebacks, refunds and fees from sales you already processed. Your merchant agreement sets how long that can last. As each chargeback window closes, the risk behind the reserve shrinks, and that is the point to ask for a release with your sales dates and refund record.

How do I get off the MATCH list after Worldpay terminated me?

A MATCH listing is kept for at least five years under Mastercard rules, and only the acquirer that reported the merchant can ask for it to be removed or corrected. If Worldpay listed you in error or under the wrong reason, the request goes to Worldpay with proof. A correct listing generally stays for the full period.

Can I see my Worldpay reserve balance?

Worldpay merchants can see reserve activity in the Reserve Report in iQ Reporting and Analytics. It shows the starting balance, period sales and refunds, the target balance, reserve adjustments and the ending balance, and you can export the data. Download it before you ask for a review so your numbers match the ones Worldpay uses.

What should I avoid while Worldpay reviews my account?

Worldpay reviews go worse when you send repeated requests, argue the reserve is unfair without data or let chargebacks keep climbing. Tighten fraud filters, answer disputes on time and keep refunds moving while you wait. Then send one request backed by your Reserve Report and chargeback history. Every message stays on your file.

Is it worth hiring help with a Worldpay reserve?

Hiring help with a Worldpay reserve is worth it when a large amount is locked, the reserve keeps rising or Worldpay terminated you. We read your Reserve Report and chargeback data the way the risk team does and build a request it can approve. Start with a free assessment to see if your case is worth working.

What does a Worldpay reserve dispute service cost?

A Worldpay reserve dispute starts with a free assessment. The price depends on how hard the case is. A reserve review on an open account takes less work than a terminated account with a large reserve and a MATCH listing. You get a straight answer on where you stand and what it costs before you pay.

Can anyone guarantee Worldpay will lower my reserve?

No one can guarantee Worldpay will lower your reserve or release your funds, because Worldpay makes the final decision. Be careful with anyone who promises it. What we commit to is the work: finding what drives the reserve, building the strongest honest request and telling you plainly before you pay whether it is worth pursuing.
