Why did Amazon remove my listing for product safety?
Amazon removes or blocks a listing for product safety when a customer reports a safety issue, a required compliance document is missing or the documents on file do not match the product. Requests show in Manage Your Compliance under Account Health. If you do not provide what Amazon asks for, it can keep the listing blocked or removed.
What documents does Amazon ask for in a product compliance request?
Amazon product compliance requests can ask for a Children’s Product Certificate, a General Certificate of Conformity, test reports from ISO 17025 accredited labs, safety data sheets, labels, warnings and product manuals. The exact list depends on the product and the country. Every document has to cover the exact model you sell, or it can be rejected.
How do I submit compliance documents on Amazon?
Amazon compliance documents are submitted through the Manage Your Compliance dashboard, found under Performance and then Account Health in Seller Central. You can upload for one ASIN at a time or in bulk with a spreadsheet template, and track approval status there. Check each document against the request before you upload, since rejected files stay on record.
Why was my Walmart item unpublished for product safety?
Walmart unpublishes items that break its Prohibited Products Policy or lack the safety documents it requires for children’s and other regulated products. For a children’s product, Walmart requires a valid Children’s Product Certificate and a matching test report from a CPSC accepted lab. Missing, incomplete or inaccurate documents can all lead to removal.
Where do I upload safety documents on Walmart Seller Center?
Walmart asks sellers to upload CPCs and test reports in Seller Center using the Item compliance widget on the Health and Compliance page. The certificate and report must be in English and come from a CPSC accepted laboratory. Upload documents for each covered item, and make sure the product named on them matches the listing.
What must a Children’s Product Certificate include?
A Children’s Product Certificate must identify the product, cite each CPSC rule it is certified to, name the importer or manufacturer with full contact details, list who keeps the test records, state where and when the product was made and tested and name the third party lab. Walmart lists these same elements in its children’s product policy.
How do I appeal a TikTok Shop product safety violation?
You appeal a TikTok Shop violation in Seller Center under Shop Health, Violation Records, then View and Appeal. TikTok Shop allows the first appeal within 30 calendar days of the notice and one more within 15 days if it is denied. Attach documents that cover the exact product named in the violation.
How long does it take to clear a product safety flag?
Clearing a product safety flag depends on the marketplace, the product and what is missing. If the right documents already exist, it can move quickly. If your supplier or a lab has to produce new test reports, it takes longer. The marketplace decides when the review is done, so start gathering documents the day the notice arrives.

A wrong safety complaint still needs a documented answer. Respond with evidence that shows what the product is and what your test reports and certificates prove for that exact model.
